General Questions
What is iAffiliate?
iAffiliate is a CPA affiliate network, focused toward the biz-opp niche, which enables affiliates to find offers to promote with some of the most competitive payouts in the industry. It provides affiliates with a unique affiliate link, creatives they can use to promote any of the given offers, and a place where they can track their sales statistics in real time.
What is CPA?
CPA stands for Cost Per Acquisition or Cost Per Action. This is the most well-known form of affiliate marketing, in which the owner/publisher of a product pays an affiliate a set amount in commissions every time that affiliate’s promotion of the publisher’s product prompts a customer or end user to take action on that product. The amount of the commission is usually either a percentage of the sale price or a flat amount.
The “Action” or “Acquisition” part of CPA can be summed up two different ways:
- CPL (Cost Per Lead): when the affiliate’s promotion provokes the customer or end user to sign up as a potential buyer, often submitting contact information by which they may be contacted with advertisement material. This is often done through the giving away of a free product.
- CPS (Cost Per Sale): when the affiliate’s promotion provokes the customer or end user to purchase one or more of the products being offered by the publisher.
What is a Conversion Rate?
A conversion rate is the percentage of clicks which turn into leads or sales. For example, if a promotion generates four hundred clicks and there were twenty-four sales that resulted from those clicks, the conversion rate would be 6% (24 sales divided by 400 clicks).
What’s a Payout?
Payout is the amount an affiliate can expect to receive in compensation for his productivity with the offer. At iAffiliate, the payout is 100% on nearly all products, meaning that whatever the consumer pays, the affiliate makes.
How Does Campaign Tracking Work?
Each affiliate will have their own unique link by which they promote. Since the link is unique, its tracking is separate from all other links, and as a result, an affiliate will be able to see how many clicks they have generated, as well as how many sales they have generated, and even how much money they have made from those sales.
Is iAffiliate CAN-SPAM Compliant?
iAffiliate is 100% compliant with the CAN-SPAM Act.
